With this server, busy professionals can watch training programs or management broadcasts that have been stored in a video archive whenever they want and be assured of quality transmissions. Each Cisco IP/TV 3430 Archive Server comes preconfigured with the IP/TV Server software, and comes bundled with 50 IP/TV Viewer licenses for client-desktops. The IP/TV 3430 Archive Server offers both exceptional processing performance and storage capacity for VOD applications. It delivers 38 Mbps of aggregate video bandwidth, enabling the support of a number of high-quality Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG), medium-bandwidth H.261, and low-bandwidth video streams a spectrum of video quality that covers just about every need in the enterprise. Average of 256 kbp. Bit-rates do fluctuate. In VOD mode, the Archive Server broadcasts one stream per user request, and can serve as many as 36 concurrent requests with 1-Mbps MPEG video programs.
