The Cisco® Aironet® 1240AG Series IEEE 802.11a/b/g Access Point is a fixed-configuration, dual-band access point. Built in to the access point are two radios each with dual antenna connectors for diversity.

The Cisco Aironet 1240AG supports local power as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE), either by an IEEE 802.3af-compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, such as a switch, or by a device capable of providing 12.95W to a Powered Device (PD) and compliant with Cisco Inline Power. The Cisco Aironet 1240AG Series includes a console port for management.
